How hard is it for a 19 year old to move to california and start a new life?

I have lived in 4 countries, and moved more times than I can count. After living 7 months with a relative on the east coast she wanted me out and so im back in iowa with my parents and im just so miserable. I have serious problems with anxiety, ocd and deep depression. I began healing when i was away from them and now its all coming back. A lot of my anxiety is caused by stress being near my family. Life here in the midwest is so dull and boring for me. I love the beach and i would love to learn to surf and california looks so beautiful, so peaceful. Would it be hard for me to find a decent job with just a high school diplomma? Ive been looking for single rooms on craiglist around sf, they going around 400-700, i could do with that if i just had a job.
